What is the DYD?

The DYD stands for the Diocesan Youth Department. This is the parent youth  body of all the churches in the Diocese of The Bahamas and The Turks and Caicos Islands.

The Anglican Diocesan Youth Department (DYD) is the central  organizing  body for youth in the Diocese of The Bahamas and The Turks and Caicos Islands.

Our Mission:

It is the mission of the Anglican Diocesan Youth Department of the Diocese of The Bahamas and The Turks and Caicos Islands to acknowledge the worth and inherent value of young people through worship, service, study and fellowship.

Our Vision:

We seek to make our parishes and communities more fully accept and include young people, while cultivating their faith in God. We seek to respond to the Holy Spirit as young Anglicans making appropriate use of our time, talent and treasure for the advancement of the churches, communities, countries and the world.
