Lenten Mission 2022

The Anglican Diocese of The Bahamas and The Turks & Caicos Islands has announced its annual Lenten Mission under the theme “The Open Door to the Eternal Banquet”.

The Missioner is The Rt. Rev’d. Laish Boyd, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese, and the venue is the St. John’s College Auditorium at 6:45 p.m. nightly. Come and share in soul-stirring singing and powerful preaching.

The nightly topics are:

The Mission will focus on God’s call to us through Baptism to be one with Him and God’s desire to journey with us every day of our lives. In these challenging times, our only sure anchor is God. We all need to hear His call in daily life circumstances and walk with Him through all the changing scenes of life.

One and all are welcome to come out and share in worship services. Everyone can be comfortable and at ease because St. John’s College Auditorium is a large and well-ventilated space, and COVID-19 protocols will be strictly enforced.

The Anglican Diocese calls on all Anglicans and the broader community to pray for this Mission event. Come out and be blessed and inspired by the fellowship, the singing and the teaching.

The services will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.
